Getbinnews is a newsreader developed in C using the GTK user interface (for Linux, FreeBSD and OpenBSD OS) . The aim of Getbinnews is to extract in some newsgroups a binary file (mp3, jpg, gif,mpg, asf, avi, divx...) splited in articles with mime, uuencode or yenc format.

Advertisements will be display on getbinnews.

Getbinnews is developed on Linux and is mainly tested on i686/Linux machine with kernel 2.2.14 and GTK 1.2.8

It runs on i386/Linux, i386/OpenBSD and i386/FreeBSD
